Mango Spinach Green Smoothie

Print Friendly

If you love the sweet delicious taste of mangos then this smoothie is for you. This spinach mango green smoothie puts a focus on the incredible mango taste.

The simplicity of this smoothie lets the mango flavor come through in full effect. Only 3 ingredients. Mango, spinach and water.

Spinach is the perfect green for this smoothie because it doesn’t have too strong a flavor.  If you were to try one of my other favorite greens in this smoothie, such as kale or swiss chard, I don’t think you would be able to taste the mango.

Different people have different techniques for getting getting inside a mango. I have zyliss soft skin peeler which works really well to to peel it. Then I just slice the mango away from the pit. My favorite part is getting to eat the little bits off the pit that my knife didn’t get too. This is not what most consider to be the proper way to cut a mango but it definitely works for me. I never make a mess and it involves a lot less cutting and slicing.

In case you hadn’t figured it out yet, I love mangos!

What are you waiting for? There is nothing stopping you from enjoying this delicious and healthy smoothie in the next few days. Go buy some mangoes, some spinach and your good to go.

A great example of a smoothie that can be made in any blender very easily.  No tough, hard to blend ingredients here.

This smoothie is light and refreshing, great for summer. And people get ready. Summer is coming.  Enjoy.

  1. Thanks for this technique of getting into a mango.  I never thought of using a peeler.  I usually either cut the skin off with a knife or cut slices away from the pit with the peel still on, then score squares into the mango flesh and pop these out.
This is one of my favourite green smoothie recipes.  I also love to add oats and seeds to my green smoothies (green thickies) to make them into a complete meal.
