Mango Raspberry Romaine Green Smoothie

Print Friendly

This mango raspberry romaine green smoothie is amazing for several reasons. The first 2 reasons are obvious. It tastes great and is really good for you.

What I think is great about this smoothie is that it is perfect for people who have never tried and/or made a green smoothie before.

Romaine doesn’t have as strong a taste as some other greens like kale, collard greens, or dandelion greens. Its flavour is present in the smoothie, however it is a familiar one to most people and one that is not overpowering.

Romaine lettuce is also very easy to find at most grocery stores. It is more accessible then some other greens I like to blend which means it doesn’t require a special trip to a health food store if you don’t shop at one regularly.

If all the reasons I already gave you weren’t enough to try this smoothie there is another one.   This mango raspberry romaine green smoothie is easy to make in any blender. No need for a high powered blender to make this tasty beverage. So whether you have a magic bullet,

Ninja, Breville, Kitchen-Aid, Blendtec, Vita-Mix, or some other kind of blender I expect you to be making this smoothie.

Yellow, then red, then green. I love seeing the different colours stacked on top of each other.

As mentioned, Romaine is easy to blend. So go ahead and try it with other fruit as well.

I tend to use banana in most of my smoothies so I like this smoothie because it’s nice to make one without banana sometimes.

The flavour of the mango and raspberry is really nice together as well.

This picture of the ingredients partially blended together is pretty cool.

I hope you enjoy it.
