As some of you know, I spent yesterday afternoon doing a smoothie demo at lululemon athletica Ste-Catherine here in Montreal. I just wanted to say a big Thank You! to everyone who came out yesterday. You guys made it a huge success and in the process, I got to meet with some great people. Thank you to everyone who tried the smoothies and asked questions, I loved your enthusiasm!
I hope that the smoothies I made yesterday inspired some people to start making some healthy smoothies on their own, or to try new ingredients in their smoothies. People loved the green smoothie that I made which was awesome. The Lemon-Ginger Zing was a hit! You can find the recipe on the back of my new business card! Check it out!
This is me serving up a smoothie to my good friend Anthony, who is the guy who happened to help me set up my site, and the guy I go to with any questions when I can’t figure something out myself. If you ever need any web design done he is the man to go see. Check out this personal site for details of projects he has done.
I took a few things away from yesterdays event. One, is that people really like Hemp Hearts (Hemp Seeds). Seriously, they love them. Of course they do! They make smoothies creamy, nutty and delicious. A lot of people have seen them at Costco before but had no idea what they were. I remember when I first discovered hemp seeds a couple years ago. Yum! Costco is a great place to buy them by the way. Unbeatable price!
The other thing people shared with me is that they like to get ideas for smoothies, inspiration you could say, which is encouraging for me since I love sharing my creations. I came across this Pineapple Blueberry Parsley Smoothie recipe that I meant to share a few weeks ago but never got around to it. Very simple. Give it a try if it sounds good to you.
Thanks again to lululemon, and everyone I met. I hope to connect with you more over Facebook. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
