Everyone loves a good bite size snack. These 10 vegan appetizers are all known to be addictive. The good news it that they’re all relatively good for you! Whether you make them for yourself as a snack or decide to serve one of them the next time you have people over, you won’t regret it.
Many of them can be made a head of time which make them a great option for dinner parties. Have them ready when your guests arrive so that they have something delicious to snack on while you finish getting dinner together.
A classic, and for good reason. Fresh tomatoes, basil, and balsamic vinegar served on grilled bread rubbed with garlic. Make sure you make a lot because these will disappear quickly.
2. Baba Ganoush
Roasted eggplant mashed with tahini, garlic and lemon. A lebanese classic and one of my favourites. You haven’t tried baba ganoush until you have made it homemade. Most store bought varieties are awful.
Part guacamole, part pesto, this dip is the best of both worlds. Rich and creamy, and 100% vegan.
Black bean and smokey chipotle peppers make for a wicked combo. Your guests will be begging you for the recipe. It’s up to you wether you decide to give it them or not.
Everybody likes guacamole and seem to think there’s is the best. It’s hard to beat this basic guacamole recipe but feel free to spice it up your way. Try serving tostones with your guacamole instead of tortilla chips! They are highly addictive.
Mashed white beans sautéed with garlic and then drizzled with fresh rosemary infused oil served on grilled bread. The flavours are so simple which is part of the beauty of this appetizer. It is extremely comforting.
A italian twist on a lebanese classic. Although most of the time I make a basic hummus sometimes I like to switch it up and play with the flavours. You can use a basic hummus recipe as your blank canvas.
This dip is delicious! Seriously though, white beans and dill make an awesome combination. Throw in a jalapeño and you have a party!
A little shot glass of soup can make for a great party appetizer, especially on a cold day. This curried red lentil soup is always a hit.
Great for a small dinner party. Your guests will be impressed when you serve up a homemade bbq pizza. Make a few and slice them into bite size pieces.
