Cold and flu season. Ugh. Many of us fall victim to it at some point or another. I have had a cold for the past week now, and it is the first time I have been sick since last November. I used to get sick several times a year, so this is quite an improvement.
I happened to come across this garlic soup recipe last week. I was not looking for a particular recipe to boost my immune system, but the timing couldn’t have been better. I found the recipe in Annemarie Colbin’s book Food and Healing. Food and Healing is probably my all time favourite book that I have read on nutrition. If you are interested in learning more about nutrition, this book is really interesting and informative.
